PES 2011 Review

Setelah mendominasi lapangan selama bertahun-tahun, Pro Evolution Soccer besutan Konami boleh dibilang telah jatuh di balik persaingan game sepak bola. Namun tim pengembang tampaknya menyadari hal ini, maka dari itu mereka menjanjikan perubahan mendasar untuk Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 mendatang.

"Sudah saatnya untuk PES untuk mengubah, dan PES 2011 merupakan redesign paling ambisius dalam seri 'sejarah' tim pengembang Konami," Kata ketua Studio Jon Murphy, seperti dikutip 1Up, Rabu (5/5/2010).

"Kami sudah terus bekerja sama dengan para fans untuk mengetahui apa itu tentang sepak bola. PES sebelumnya tidak melakukannya dengan maksimal, " tambahnya.

Ia melanjutkan, kebebasan Total prioritas dan grafis animasi baru harus terjadi di PES 2011 tidak. Perombakan total di PES 2011 menjadi sangat penting, apalagi jika Konami ingin memberikan yang terbaik bagi penggemar setia PES.

Edisi berikutnya PES Konami menjanjikan kontrol yang lebih penuh saat pemain menggiring bola, dan mulai mengadaptasi fitur online di fitur Master League. Murphy berjanji bahwa penggemar akan harus "belajar kembali bagaimana mereka bermain."

Meskipun tidak memiliki lisensi di FIFA, Pro Evolution mempunyai penjualaan yang bagus berkat kecepatan pada mekanika kualitas simulasi, seperti Master Liga. Tidak ada aral melintang Konami akan merilis Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 pada musim gugur ini.

Fitur baru pes 2011

1. Sistem kendali, sistem kendali yang baru, dengan seluruh gerakan dapat digerakkan oleh gamer, epertinya jadi seperti FIFA

Pengukur stamina, stamina pemain kini memiliki ukuran yang lebih akurat, tidak seperti sebelumnya yang menjadikan pemainlayaknya robot yang tidak punya rasa capek, kini pengukuran stamina dijamin berbeda. Dimana semakin sering pemain berlari dan bergerak maka kelelahan akan semakin banyak, tampak realistis bukan?
3. Pertahanan yang lebih baik, para pemain belakang kini lebih pandai dari sebelumnya, sistem gerakan pemain belakang kini tidak hanya asal serobot, tetapi lebih cerdas, bahkan bisa memperkecil ruang gerak penyerang tetapi tidak merebut bola. Defender dapat mengontrol diri untuk bergerak maju ke depan atau bergerak perlahan kebelakang untuk mempersempit ruang dan mengambil bola disaat yang tepat.
4. Animasi beragam, gerakan pemain terlihat lebih nyata dan beragam.
5. Pengaturan kecepatan bermain, kecepatan bermain bisa diatur sendiri oleh gamer
6. Estetika, pembaharuan wajah pemain, lebih dari 1000 animasi baru berdasarkan gerakan nyata yang telah direkam selama 100jam
7. Taktik dan strategi, mekanisme pengaturan taktik dan strategi bersifat drag &drop, dengan penambahan animasi strategi yang dipakai, dan kini pengaturan strategi lebih beragam dan nyata, tidak seperti sebelumya dimana hanya di pakai untuk pergantian pemain dan formasi dasar saja.
8. Liga online, master league online yang dicita-citakan bayak gamer dimasa lalu akan hadir di dalam PES 2011, belum jelas sperti apa format master online ini akan dioperasikan, tetapi hal ini sudah cukup membuat gamer berharap yang terbaik.
9. Dukungan 3D, pes 2011 mendukung 3D, menggunakan kacamata khusus, dengan tampilan 3dimensi
10. Lisensi di beberapa liga baru, tambahan Copa Libertadores.

The Lord of the Rings Online is a fun and accessible online role-playing game that does just enough to distinguish itself from its high-profile competition.

With a license as lucrative as Lord of the Rings, Turbine Entertainment could have simply created a World of Warcraft clone with Middle-earth nomenclature on it and called it a day. That The Lord of the Rings Online is such an accessible experience is bound to draw comparisons to the genre's leading title, but that it's so enjoyable to play is a testament to its great design. Its inventive aspects are peripheral, but they are there, and combined with slick and engaging questing, the package makes for plenty of appealing exploration.

Tolkien fans won't be left in the lurch, either. The game is brimming with well-known characters and name-dropping galore, as well as familiar races that should please anyone acquainted with the LOTR universe. Men, dwarves, hobbits, and elves are all represented, along with seven total classes being up for grabs. For massively multiplayer game veterans, though, this doesn't make for a lot of choices when games like EverQuest 2 offer so many more combinations, particularly if you plan on playing multiple characters. On the other hand, there is a good variety of gameplay styles from which to choose within those limitations. Classes like the pet-handling lore-master and the stealthy burglar play much differently, and all of them have a role to play within a group of adventurers. Significantly, all of them are viable solo classes as well.

With narrative-focused MMOGs like Dungeons & Dragons Online and Asheron's Call 2 under Turbine's belt, it should come as no surprise that a group of story quests thread together your adventures. Completing each one rewards you with a high-quality cutscene, and it's in these moments that the license shines most. In your early adventures, it's tough to shake the feeling that you've seen most of these types of quests before in other fantasy RPGs. Once the story quests kick in, though, the immersion factor rises and the world's unique qualities come more clearly into focus.

It helps that Middle-earth is beautiful to look at and brimming with touches that distinguish it from other fantasy settings. Seeing petite hobbit holes or the House of Elrond for the first time are gleeful moments for fans. The Lord of the Rings Online does not feature the most technically proficient visuals, with occasionally simple geometry and relatively lackluster character models. On the other hand, the environments are simply breathtaking, featuring plenty of rolling hills covered with lush, colorful foliage and detailed architecture. Even the more barren reaches of Middle-earth look impressive--like the mountains of the Ettenmoors, where dead trees and torn flags litter the landscape. The game engine runs smoothly and has few frame-rate jitters on even more modest systems, so performance issues are not likely to stand in the way of your escapades.

The game's greatest asset is that there's simply so much to do. World of Warcraft may be the king of quest-based MMOGs, but The Lord of the Rings Online is no slouch, and in fact, you may find yourself with so much to do that you reach the 40-quest limit in your quest log more often than you would expect. The upside is that you'll never be stuck grinding because there's nothing else to do. The quests require you to roam about a good deal, which makes for some occasionally leisurely travel but gives exploration types plenty to see. Aside from the story quests, they mostly boil down to the usual go-there-kill-that missions. On the other hand, some of them are clever and fit well with their locale, such as the Shire quests in which you deliver food while avoiding the noses of hungry hobbits.

The economic missions that had you racing against the clock to fulfill contrived objectives have been removed from the game. Instead, Stronghold: Crusader places more emphasis on the fine art of defending or storming a castle. After all, isn't this what you want when you pick up a box with a knight standing in front of a castle? When players first looked at the box for the original Stronghold, they probably wouldn't have guessed that they'd be spending their time accumulating 500 units of cheese.

Stronghold Crusader Cheat: Make your Own Taunts
First, go into C:\Program Files\Firefly Studios\Stronghold Crusader\fx\Speech or wherever you installed Crusader. You will find a bunch of sound files. You need a microphone to do this. To make this easier, put the list of files in alphabetical order. Now, scroll down to the file Insult1. Insult1=F1 and you get the idea. (You can double click to listen to the file). Now right click on Insult1 to bring up a menu. Look down the list and find, "record". Click on that and it should bring up the sound recorder. Press record, record what you want to say and click stop. Instead of going to file save, press the close box and it should come up with a message stating the directory of the file changed and it will ask you if you want to save the changes. Click yes. Now, you can go into the game, press F1 and you should hear your recording. You can also do this with any other file in the speech folder. Note: Be aware that you can't change the file back to its original voice unless you reinstall the game. This is based on Windows XP and it might not be the same on Windows 98

The new game adds three new Asian civilizations, each with new units and buildings and their own five-mission campaign. It's not surprising that the expansion maintains the excellent unit balance and exciting presentation that the series is known for.
